LOA and Number Synchronicities

by on April 3, 2012

It’s time for another awesome reader question!

Awesome Dude asks: “I was wondering what your thoughts were on 111/1111 (1:11/11:11). I’ve read a lot of different things, and I’ve been experiencing 111/1111 ever since I read a post on Steve Pavlina’s blog. Do you think it’s something higher/spiritual or do you think I’m LOA-ing all of these 1′s for some reason? My Significant Other has been experiencing these as well since I’ve introduced them to her. I’m haunted by them constantly, and I’m not sure what they mean. It’s been like this for the past year or so. “

I’ve received that question numerous times in the last few weeks. Readers are wondering if these are signs from the Universe, if they mean anything or if there’s something that they should be doing.

Disclaimer: Reading this post may very well cause you to see more number synchronicities. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Buwhahahahaha.

The magnificence of creation

First of all, there’s no need to worry. Number synchronicities are a good thing. They are simply a manifestation, just like everything else in your reality.

You are manifesting (or receiving) all day long. Every little detail in your reality has been drawn to you by you, even if it wasn’t done consciously (and let’s face it, most of it wasn’t). So, the song that you hear on the radio is a manifestation. The particular waitress that served you at the coffee shop is a manifestation. The fact that you were delayed for 10 seconds by the hobo asking for change and wishing you a nice day so that you wouldn’t run into your ex-boyfriend on your way to work,  is a manifestation. You are constantly aligning with experiences, big and tiny, that match your vibration. And for the most part, you’re not aware of any of it, unless something goes wrong, or you deem something as “missing”. So, as you go through your day, the Universe has orchestrated millions of tiny moments and details to perfection, all essentially mirroring your wonderful vibration, and all you notice is that you’re still single. The magnificence of your power of creation is completely and totally lost on you, if you’re like most people.

When we see 11:11 or 17:17 on the clock, or our bill comes to 40.40, or whatever, we get this little jolt of recognition. We notice that something special has occurred, especially when it happens again and again. Nothing has really changed – the Universe hasn’t done anything that it doesn’t do all day every day. The only thing that’s different is that this particular orchestrating of details, this particular manifestation, got your attention. Nudging you to wake up just in time so that the first thing you’ll see is the clock reading 5:55, is no different for the Universe than sending you the impulse to remember to pick up your dry cleaning or to turn left at the next street instead of right so that you’ll just happen to chance upon your dream house. Only, you often won’t credit the Universe (or more accurately, your own manifesting power) when these small things happen. You think you just remembered your dry cleaning, and that it was luck that you found that house. You don’t remember the impulses, perhaps dozens or even hundreds of them, that led you there. And that’s ok. Because if every impulse you followed had to be completely conscious, your world would’ve fallen apart years ago. If there wasn’t some automatic process in place, we couldn’t exist. So often, when you relax and go on autopilot, when you walk down the street while deep in thought, or you drive home like a zombie, you begin to follow all kinds of intuitive little nudges that help to get you where you want to go. Remember that you don’t have to ever make anything happen, you just have to stop fighting the process. So, the second you relax, let go and allow, those little nudges take over and move you ever closer to your dream man or that million dollar idea. So, most of the time, we are completely unaware of this gigantic and complex process that nudges gajillions of details into place in order to perfectly orchestrate every second of every day of our lives. But when those number synchronicities happen, we take notice. It catches our attention. We begin to get just a glimpse of all the tiny details that had to fall into place, of the incredible sense of timing that was required in order to orchestrate a seemingly insignificant event like putting us in the stadium on the very day that the basketball player shoots the basket, causing us to look up at the score board at precisely the time when the clock reads 11:11. It seems like a massive coincidence, until it happens again. And again. And again. And while these events generally aren’t important in the grand scheme of things, if you take a moment to think about it, about what had to be orchestrated and lined up to make such a moment happen, you may actually get a glimpse of your own, massive power. Why would the Universe knock itself out for irrelevant details? We may wonder why the Universe would “waste” its massive resources to orchestrate such seemingly irrelevant events. But that’s the thing: There are no irrelevant events. Everything is organized right down to the tiniest details. It’s like that movie, The Truman Show, where Jim Carrey is in raised in a Reality TV show. His world is actually a set and every person he interacts with is an actor. He has no idea that every detail of his life is actually planned and executed by someone on his behalf. Well, your reality creation is just like that, only you’re not only the star of the show, but the writer and director, as well. The Universe is the stage hand, the props department, the lighting guy, the casting director, etc. It will make sure the actual work gets done. And every detail is orchestrated by you for you. No request is too small. No part too insignificant to cast perfectly. When you consider that this isn’t just happening to and for you, but to and for every other human, animal, plant and consciousness on the planet (and beyond…yond…yond…yond…), you begin to realize just how miraculous the entire process is. It’s like a wink from the Universe Seeing number synchronicities is like getting a wink from the Universe. You are, in that moment, recognizing that something has lined up. You are consciously acknowledging a manifestation. You can take this a step further and begin to notice that you got your favorite waitress at the coffee shop, that the bus showed up at just the right time, that your presentation at work went smoothly, that your lunch was cooked to perfection, that the ladies at the table next to you at dinner were having such a great time that you couldn’t help but smile with them. You can begin to notice more of the little details in your life that are going well, that are showing you that the majority of your vibration is in a good place. You can learn to marvel at the complexity of the process that brought all of these details to you with perfect timing. And, once you’ve started to notice more and more of these details, you can really prove your own power to yourself by noticing how those details adjust, according to how to feel. I disclaimered you at the beginning of this post: I warned you that the mere reading of these words could cause you to see more synchronicities. That’s because simply focusing on a subject will cause you to manifest what it was that you focused upon, particularly if you don’t give it much importance. In other words, if you now go around looking for synchronicities, you probably won’t see many. But if you just relax and allow them to come, and then rejoice when you do see them (I always send a little wink back to the Universe, kind of a “Hey you… I see what you did there”, *nudge, nudge*), you’ll begin to notice them everywhere. Just remember, allowing the aligning of numbers is no more difficult than allowing the aligning of money, cars, romance, jobs, houses, or a twenty five year old world traveler with a washboard stomach sitting in my rooftop Jacuzzi, which just happens to be filled with Belgian chocolate. You know. If you’re into that sort of thing. The process is exactly the same. Focus on it, think to yourself “That would be so cool”, and then relax and trust that the process will take care of it, providing you don’t get in the way. How does the Universe wink at you? Do you see numbers lining up? Or do you see other small details in your life getting your attention by repeating over and over again? Have you gotten a glimpse of the miraculousness of the entire creative process and your own, massive power? Share in the comments! When I squirted my hair mousse out of the bottle into my hand, it came out in a *perfect* heart shape; when I walked down the street at work, I just happened to look up and see a poster for some art exhibit that had “I LOVE YOU” in huge text across it; I kept noticing heart things everywhere. It was so cool! And everytime I noticed something it made me smile, and I’d think back to the Universe: “I love you, too!” LOL Nathalie invites you to read..Government Job Cuts: What Does it All Mean? Jennifer April 9, 2012 at 20:52 I have NO earthly idea how I ended up on this blog this morning (seriously!) but these are the most refreshing words I’ve read in years (besides Notes from the Universe, of course You are saying exactly what I need to hear and supporting the beliefs I have had for a long time, which I’m not hearing a lot of other places, i.e. “not being afraid of death.” When I see synchronicities I usually say,”Loud and Clear, God” . In my experience it’s definitely a matter of being “awake” enough to see them. Your blog is awesome, Melody! <3 Melody Fletcher April 9, 2012 at 21:49 Hey Jennifer! Welcome to Deliberate Receiving! Lizardbreath April 3, 2012 at 21:21 Ahahaaa…as I read your article I realized that I keep seeing my birth date 1216 but not any of the sequences mentioned. I felt just a tiny bit anxious, wondering, as we silly people do, if I’m missing something. As soon as I finished the article I looked at the time on my phone and lo and behold….12:12. I grinned and looked to verify it on my bedroom clock. I forgot it’s set a few minutes fast so you can guess what time it read. Yup, 12:16. The Universe and I had a good giggle over that one. Thanks Melody for another insightful article. You’re such a rock star! Melody Fletcher April 3, 2012 at 22:23 Hey Lizardbreath, Don’t you just love it?!?!? Even the title,I don’t know what to say Melody :) My girl friends and I had this superstition since our childhood. If you see a syncronised clock (11:11 etc.) it means that your lover thinks of you.And now that I’m single I started to happen to see these numbers nowadays.Mostly when I feel really bad I intuitively look at the clock on my phone and see it.It’s funny but as soon as I see it my mood rises and I have been taking it as a wink from the universe. Then I saw your post.Maybe the universe tries to tell me that don’t worry :) I love everybody for causing this post to be published, thanks :):) Melody Fletcher April 3, 2012 at 22:27 Hey Aylin, You’re so welcome. LOL. I was kind of getting bombarded with this question, so I thought I’d better write it up soon. You know, we come up with lots of little ideas like that when we’re kids. But I think those superstitions are a good thing, if they cause you to feel good. Like someone’s looking out for you. I mean, when I was in Rome, I threw a couple of pennies in the Trevi fountain (the superstitions says, one penny = meet a man, two pennies = boyfriend, three pennies = husband). I figured, if it gave me a few minutes of romantic dreaminess, it’s a fair price. Huge hugs! Melody Melody Fletcher invites you to read..Can I Use LOA To Get My Husband To Take Out The Trash? There have been many times that I’ve glanced at the clock and it’s 11:11. My take on it was that it also happens to be the date of Veteran’s Day. My Dad was a Vietnam Veteran and such a proud Marine. He passed away 19 yrs ago and was buried at the Veteran’s Cemetery. My Mom also passed, 2 yrs ago and just as they wanted, we buried her w/ our Dad. Since then, I always try to remember to call the Veteran’s Administration to look into adding my Mom’s name on the plaque, but I keep forgetting. I just told my cousin that I think my Dad or my Mom is trying to remind me to do this. Do you believe in this, because I do. I know it could be other things. For instance, I’ve been going through some major changes, thanks to your help, for the better. Could they be acknowledging this? I don’t know. I was just blown away when I read your blog. Amazing! Melody Fletcher April 3, 2012 at 22:34 Hey Yvette, Yes, your parents could be communicating with you, and they would do so in a way that you would be able to hear, providing you are listening. I do not believe, however, based on the conversations I’ve had with channels and my own forays into the non-physical that your dead parents even remotely care about that plaque anymore. If it’s important to you, do it. But it’s not to them. They’re having way too much fun to care about a plaque. I think it’s more likely that as you feel better and are raising your vibration, you are more and more able to hear and connect with them. You see, those in the non-physical will not lower their vibration to meet yours. You have to raise yours until you match their frequency. This is why when we’re in pain and grief, we can’t “hear” our loved ones. But when we get happy again, suddenly they send us a little sign. They’ve been broadcasting that sign all the time, but we weren’t able to receive it. If something makes you think of your mom and dad and when you do, you get filled with this wonderful, joyous feeling, it’s them. They’re still looking out for you, and they’ll help put their energy onto whatever you want (in essence, they can make it easier for you to manifest what you want), but they no longer care if the house is clean, or if their car’s oil was changed. However, if YOU care and it would make YOU feel better to do it, then they may well nudge you. Because they want to help you feel good. I hope that makes sense. Huge hugs! Disclaimer – I’m a retired math teacher… I see numbers all the time. I’ve always felt that ages that were powers were my best years. I can’t wait for 64 – 2 to the sixth! Woohoo! When I turned 50, my kids made me a giant card that read 5 squared times 2 – hee hee! 49 was great too – 7 squared! And my number is seven – first name, birth date, whole name, you name it – I’m a seven! I even made sure my writing pseudonym was a seven. I’m a sudoku/kakuro/killer sudoku fanatic. Sometimes I dream in numbers. Right now I’m hooked on the rising number of LIKES on the animal control website – yeah! (and thank you Melody) Other synchronicities I’ve been noticing – flowers blooming. Songs. I swear the wind chime signals me when the Universe is calling. Ring, ring, pay attention now! Wow! Anyway, the thing is, it doesn’t always run. I will go for weeks without an issue and then, all of a sudden, run, run, run. So now, when it doesn’t, I see it as a sign of alignment (I’m trying hard not to focus on the opposite). That’s right. My toilet is a sign of alignment. Huge hugs! And Yay for the doggies!!! Two points come together to form a 3rd that is neither the first or second= physical reality = the triangle… Gematria is an ancient science of numbers, Gematria or gimatria (Hebrew: ????????, g?ma?riy?) is a system of assigning numerical value to a word or phrase. Thus 666 =18=Isis, 1+8 reduces to 9, the Hermit. completion, the light on the hill. 12/21/12=9,completion, 21/12 2012=11=justice Numbers that reduce to the same number are related! While I’m fascinated by the Fibonacci sequence and the like, my knowledge obviously doesn’t go as deep as yours. I’m glad you’re here to offer that perspective. I try to sometimes visualize this huge complex machine, where every detail of everyone’s reality is perfectly aligned and we are brought together at just the perfect time so that we can mirror each others’ vibrations in just the right way… It boggles the mind, really. I also like to see the world in terms of the Truman Show. Like, I’m the star and every other person in my life is co-star, supporting actor, or extra. And of course, they are all stars of their own show at the same time. But the idea that each person that I so much as notice on the street has been specifically “cast” to be in my reality makes me notice a lot more details. It makes me respect just how much in my life is lining up all day long, how much I might miss, and how much beauty and perfection there is in the world. For me, it gives me a glimpse of just how much help we have and how supported we are. Awesome feeling! Huge hugs! Melody Vidya Sury April 4, 2012 at 07:09 As usual, I just enjoyed reading your post, Melody. Reminds me of “So it was written, and so shall it be done” (from the 1956 movie – Rameses’ line played by the oh-so-cool Yul Brynner – he looked smashing in his costume (or lack of it)). In our culture, we believe that everything is ordained – and just unfolds as we live our lives. (And that is how astrologers and the sorts flourish ) Although a little skeptical about this, I can’t help believing sometimes that the Universe conspired to make things happen – and I am usually thinking this way when good things happen. In its simplest form, for instance, I wake up on time, get things ready on time, my bike starts up at the first try, all the traffic lights are on green as I approach them and there’s a perfect parking slot ready as I ride in…you know, that sort of thing. I secretly think that most of the time, when we are well-planned and have everything in place, AND everything goes well, we like to attribute it to “fate” or the “Universe”. In spite of not being planned when things work out, it is “luck” (probably interchangeable with Universe). Whatever, it is all good. And for the large part, in our hands. Vidya Sury invites you to read..Does A Positive Attitude Work? Melody Fletcher April 4, 2012 at 14:48 Hey Vidya, Technically, from my view, WE are the ones that are making it all happen, but using Universal Laws, our non-physical selves and the vast resources of non-physical consciousness. It’s just a lot easier for me to say “Universe”. But why not attribute those small details to ourselves. When your bike starts on the first try you can pat yourself on the back and say “Yep. I attracted that”. Same with all the green lights. And the parking spot. Looking at all that’s going well, no matter how small the details and taking credit for them allows us to feel our own power. And THAT makes those isolated and few (in comparison) details that we’d like to change so much easier to deal with. We can never again say “Everything in my life is crap!”, because, well, we’ve simply gathered too much evidence to the contrary. Huge hugs! Melody Jazz Rasool April 4, 2012 at 12:22 As much as we like to see things in a nice sequence or simple arrangement, sometimes seeing a particularly complex number is very satisfying validation of a higher intelligence at work. The number 6.283185307179 may be half of 12.566370614359 but did you know that these are linked to the pyramids in Mexico and Egypt? The first is 2 times the value of PI (3.14159..) and the second is 4 times the value. PI is the number you get when you divide the circumference of a circle by its diameter and is a universal constant. The two numbers relate to the heights of the pyramids. The first to the height of the pyramids in Mexico, the second to those of Egypt indicating those in Mexico are exactly half the height of those in Egypt. Also, the layout of the pyramids in Mexico is the same as those in Egypt, both being a map of the 3 central stars of the constellation Orion. Civilisations half a planet away have built structures with such connected maths because they are relating to the greater universe. To discover this relationship on the surface would be a stunning synchronicity, however, when the odds are highly against it there is probably an underlying principle or law at work. In this case both civilisations worshipped the Orion constellation for some reason and the architectures of their pyramids were designed for precise and similar functions. Some say the designs were for power generation based on cosmic principles. Whatever, the point is they both relied on universal principles to support their day to day existence, principles that many of us in the modern age have disassociated from. The dis-association may be there but that doesn’t mean we are dis-connected, fortunately. I’ve created social networking tools that over time get people more associated with their authentic selves and then associates them with others who also have got in touch and in alignment with themselves. When I started I noticed people getting synchronicities increase until at one point there were four times as many as you’d expect by chance. I knew then I had amplified people’s engagement with some underlying principle or law. Synchronicity is the universe folding and having different parts gravitate towards one another to connect and interact. Different regions of Space, Time and Mind all cross-fertilise and exchange. Its kind of like the Universe loving itself. So every time you experience a synchronicity, acknowledge you have just witnessed the Universe expressing love. Melody Fletcher April 4, 2012 at 14:54 “It’s kind of like the Universe loving itself” – I LOVE that, Jazz. I feel like you and Philip should talk… Like I said in my reply to Philip, I do believe that everything is really just numbers. It will be the mathematicians who make sense of it all in the end. Through math, we can identify or label specific frequencies and duplicate them with symbols that match that math, helping us to Tune ourselves to those frequencies. Of course, you can do that intuitively, without knowing the math, but the match can “prove” it and explain it. And wow. The idea of a social networking tool based on authenticity? That’s awesome! And, that’s the future. For sure. Huge happy shiny puppy hug! Melody J April 4, 2012 at 13:42 I had to hit submit twice, I hope this doesn’t come up twice! I’m sorry if it does. ————— Hi, I know this doesn’t have anything to do with numbers, but it does with LOA, and it all happened within ten minutes of reading this web page. Background I should say that I have been subscribing to here, for at least six months, and I have only read may 6-7 all the way through, I want to, but I’m so tired from everything else in my life that I haven’t had the energy. Event When I was reading this last night, I thought how cool, I wonder if anything like this will happen to me? Well, somewhere in this post there is a link to here: http://www.poweredbyintuition.com/2012/03/31/intuition-how-to-know-if-youre-getting-a-sign/ How to know if your getting a sign, I was thinking about this most of yesterday morning, as I drove 5 hours down from my rural home, to the city, and wondering if I should buy the used fish tank from this person, I found on kijiji.ca. I looked at it and did not buy it, it was in yuky shape, was outside to the elements, including all the electrical and he wanted more then 3 times its worth. I did stay over night at a friends house in hopes that I will find the perfect fish tank and the perfect price in my budget, then head home. I really need it, my fish are having more babies then rabbits do, and I don’t know what to do with them, I don’t feel comfortable giving them to a pet store, I know how most fish barely get enough food to live there, and in a rural setting people don’t see fish as living intelligent creatures. They would surprise most people if they took the time. I want one tank for males and one for females, solution, no more babies. I like the babies, but I would have to know that they are going to caring loving homes. Its been my fish that has helped me to keep me somewhat sane in the past year. They don’t deserve to go to pet store then some strangers home, on a whim, who may not know anything about fish, and the careful balance of water, ph, nitrates, ammonia and water cycles, and die, it would be a death sentence. I’m sorry I digress, but I care so much! It is an issue that runs really deep with me. Anyways, I followed that link I posted, and then read through what she said, and thought WOW, that is awesome, to get such a sign and to really understand it and know what it means! Then I went to refresh the kijiji.ca page and “6 minutes ago”, during the time I was reading the Signs web page, the perfect fish tank selling ad came up, I emailed right away and this guys last name is the same last name of my friends name with whom, I’m staying with!!! I was so dumbfounded I had to sit still for a while, and all within 10 minutes of reading this webpage. If that isn’t a sign, then I don’t know what else to call it! I am going to see the tank today at 4pm! Melody Fletcher April 4, 2012 at 14:58 Hey J!! That’s it! That’s exactly it! That’s how easy manifestation can be. You set the intention, you don’t obsess about it and all the elements line up for you. The action that you now have to take – going and actually buying the fish tank is natural and easy. What a perfect example. Isn’t it beautiful? You know, I have to say, I’ve never looked at fish this way. But the way you described them, your love and respect for them clearly comes through and I don’t think I’ll ever look at them the same way again. Thank you for that. Huge happy shiny fishy hug! Melody anny April 4, 2012 at 16:55 Hi Melody, I’ve noticed that when I am more or less in alignment I see 11:11 and 22:22 etc. all the time, but when I’am not so much it’s apt to be 11:12 or 22:23. I also interpret that as kind of a signal to get back into alignment again. I liked it that Philip mentioned gematria, which I think is either Hebrew or Jiddish. I used gematria a lot during my search for deeper meaning of the Hebrew Bible texts and even though I hardly scratched the surface I came up with amazing results which pretty much tell the same story that comes through in channelings today. I also was kind of in a channeling stage when I concentrated on these words and was playing around with associations as well. The amazing thing is that in this way you will always been able to find to truth in the Hebrew Bible texts, no matter what manipulations people put it through in order to make it fit their purposes, as long as all the words are still there. As far as your example of going on autopilot through the streets and being led more or less automatically to where you want to go, my experience has been that chances were good that I would end up where I did not want (or had) to go. I often went to visit my mother in the nursinghome where she lived and always drove the same way. Part of that way was also the way into town where the shops are. So when I was going into town for shopping and was deep in thought, the autopilot often led me on the way to the nursinghome because that was the way I took more often (I hate shopping, especially for clothes) and somewhere I would wake up and discover I was going the wrong way. Of course the autopilot led me away from what I did not really want to do in the first place. When shopping involved books I never ‘lost’ my way. O, and Mary Carol, 64 is an awesome place to be. I think I took some sort of leap during this year, if not a quantum leap. I don’t like the bumpy ride that Melody thinks it would involve. Well, I do not like rides full stop, they make me dizzy! Love, Anny Melody Fletcher April 5, 2012 at 00:00 Hey Anny, That’s so interesting that you see “almost” numbers when you’re “almost” aligned. Ha ha ha. So, when you’re on autopilot, you were led away from what you didn’t want to do? Hmmmm. Sounds like your intuition to me. Or, could just be habit… I’ve ended up in the wrong place before and neither one was wanted or unwanted. But then again, who knows? Perhaps there would’ve been something unwanted that I avoided with my little detour… I didn’t mean to imply that getting older has to be a bumpy ride. I think for many people it is, but it certainly doesn’t have to be. Why don’t we start the ball rolling by setting a better example? You first. Huge hugs! Melody anny April 5, 2012 at 10:46 Hi Melody, Thank you for your answer which was posted, according to the theme of the subject, at 00.00 hrs! There is a misunderstanding here. I did not mean to say that you called getting older a bumpy ride. I referred to the quantum leap you wrote about in one of your earlier blogs and I thought I mentioned that in my comment, I was sure I did, but as it turned out I did not. As far as getting older is concerned, that does not really bother me. In this time and age I am looking forward to a whole new life. After all, it is possible to even get younger, if not in years! I just thought of another synchronicity. One of my sons has always been very interested in history, especially the second world war and ancient Egypt. He knows an awful lot about both and visited the ancient sites in Egypt more than once where he often knew just as much as the guides, or even more. He wanted to study Egyptology at the university but then he went to Vietnam for a holiday, fell in love, with a girl and with the country and that was that. However, he still kept himself informed about ancient Egypt through the internet and now he has written a historical novel, in English, about the period of one of the wellknown farao’s. He just finished it and looks for ways to get it published. And just in this week, when I was reading your blog and also the comments, I occasionally also clicked on links mentioned by people underneath their comment, and twice I saw a website that provided advice for starting writers or links where they could find it. Of course I passed both of the links on to my son and he mailed me that they were both very interesting and maybe helpful. I never before read anything about this particular subject, the publishing I mean! As far as starting the ball rolling is concerned to set a better example, I do not have much of a choice, do I? Having reached this ripe old age already. But I’ll take you on! I’d put a smiley here if I knew how. I’m totally lost as far as computer science is concerned. The simplest things confuse me sometimes. Well, it is good to know what it feels like not to understand simple things. It keeps me from looking down at people who do not seem able to understand what I call simple. Love, Anny Melody Fletcher April 5, 2012 at 14:33 Hey Anny, Ah ok! No worries. I was a teensy bit confused. I like the idea of getting younger and I’ve done it in my life. During my corporate days, I was at least 10 years older, if not more. Both mentally and physically, the stress aged me. But after I made some changes, I began to get “younger”. I let my happy shiny puppy energy out and I plan on getting younger every year. And although I don’t really care about the wrinkles, I can tell you that I look younger now than I did a few years ago. My skin is actually in better shape. So who knows how I’ll age? As long as I feel good and energetic and I have a bounce in my step and I don’t feel too old to play silly, giggly games, I’m good. It’s amazing how these manifestations just show up so easily, isn’t it? That’s you, allowing yourself to be a cooperative component to bring info to your son. Yay! I love these examples. Because you did have to take action – you passed on the link, but it didn’t really seem like action. It felt easy and natural and like no work at all. That’s manifesting at its finest. WHAT? We can’t have you commenting on this blog without the ability to use smileys! Here’s a link that gives you the codes. The smiley comes first, then the characters you have to type (and when you hit submit, Wordpress converts those characters to a smiley) http://en.support.wordpress.com/smilies/ In fact, looking at somet of these, I’m going to start getting a bit more creative with my smileys. 8) Huge hugs! Melody Donna April 4, 2012 at 16:56 I have three siblings, one has the birthday 8/28/70. I see 8:28 frequently on the clock. I used to have a job where I made a daily bank deposit. One day’s deposit totaled828.70! I almost never see my birthday or that of my other siblings.

As a math instructor, I like that you say that math will explain LOA. To me, math explains everything, so why not LOA?

Melody Fletcher April 5, 2012 at 00:02

Hey Donna,

Oooh, another math instructor! I love numbers so it’s no coincidence that I keep attraction y’all. LOL. I actually wasn’t aware that people saw their birthdays until people told me so in the comments here. I’ve never seen my birthday. How much do you want to bet that we’ll both start seeing it now?

Happy Shiny Puppy Hugs!

I need to go to bed! Good stuff…I love it when numbers align…but then with dyscalcula numbers are a strange part of my life…and then everyone keeps asking me to teach or share numbers with others – from children’s cooking and math classes ( I cook by touch, feel and sight – can’t figure out measuring cups at all) or my mother thought, and my husband, if I just keep all the books and pay the bills etc. I will figure numbers out! ha ha on them – they are always so surprised when I have them reversed or wrong decimal points and I don’t see it at all…it is just a long exercise in copying…

But my friend Laurie figured out I was 9 in numerology and I have read a lot about that and I like that I share a number and a description with Karl Jung and Gandhi…I think I am very like Jung…when I get and understanding of an idea I can integrate and create with it almost immediately and take it further than others in just a flash… I am quite an idea person – visioning person….I get bored with all the due diligence to get others up to speed with my thinking.

I think there are several months this year with 5 Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays…even more unusual?
off to bed now

Melody Fletcher April 5, 2012 at 14:37

Hey Patricia,

So, you’re a visionary! Yay! The world needs visionaries – idea people. They drive innovation and expansion. And don’t worry, there are plenty of people who love to implement, so if that’s not your thing, just keep having those ideas!

Perhaps, we’re collectively manifesting more weekends? He, he, he.

Huge hugs!

anny April 5, 2012 at 21:31

Hello Patricia,

I can relate to what you wrote. I have more or less the same with all science oriented things. When I am interested in a subject, like energy, matter, light, consciousness etc. and the relation with spirituality and I read books about it with a scientific approach, I understand one word out of ten, if that, and still, once I have a vague idea of what it is about I sometimes seem to get a flash of insight and immediately jump to a conclusion that the scientists nine times out of ten reach at the end of a lot of tests and who knows what else. I really do not know how I get there but when I feel in my heart that it is the right conclusion, then it always proves to be the case later. Maybe that is where my irritation with proving things comes from. I know instantly but do not know how I got there and I do not understand what others consider proof.

Love,

Anny

Anarchist.Empress April 9, 2012 at 22:03

Not related to numbers but Synchronicity in general. I just have to tell someone! I’ve been kind of at an impass as to where to go next in my sucessful budding career. Typically I’m so goal oriented. I’m not job hunting but I happened upon a website and found a job that would be perfect for me and the next logical step in my career. Turns out its in MAUI! I currently live in Los Angeles and frankly, it’s not quite my speed. well I though this is too good to be true but this is the perfect time in my life to do this. I’ve been to Maui once but I had never thought of moving there. I would be able to contribute to the preservation of the local heritage and history in my career and I thought what the hey! And threw my hat in the ring. Well suddenly everything is popping up Hawaii. Yesterday I was at my parents house for Easter and Brother Iz’s Hawaiian version of “What a wonderful world” came on the radio. Then after leaving their house I drove behind a car with a “live aloha” bumper sticker and a Maui license plate frame. Then I went into the book store when I got home and found a book all about my unique career in Hawaii! It’s like the Universe is saying “Yes, Sara, I’m for realsies on this one!” Well the job closes in 6 days. We shall see what happens!

Melody Fletcher April 10, 2012 at 14:24

Yay Sara! That’s awesome. THIS is exactly what manifesting is like, when we don’t make it so much harder than it needs to be. Crap just starts lining up. Awesome, awesome crap.

Congratulations on your successful manifestation. Even if you don’t get the job (and I think it’s pretty obvious that you will), then it was simply an indicator or where you’re at, which means something even better is coming along. Ride the wave!!! Um, hang then? I must work on my surfing lingo…

Huge hugs!

Well, then that was a pre-cursor to something even better. Keep the faith and keep enjoying the ride.

Chris April 10, 2012 at 22:21

I used to get 11:11 quite a lot, but then I started looking for it, so I wonder if I devalued that as a “signal” in the process. Still, it comes up every now and again even when I’m not looking for it. I get small happy buzzes from it, but bigger ones from other recurring-number patterns, probably because they are less common in my experience.

I have been told that, when I’m thinking about doing something, 11:10 means I’m jumping the gun, 11:11 means I’m right in the moment to be doing it and 11:12 means I’m a bit behind. But that’s never sat well with me.

Melody Fletcher April 11, 2012 at 00:48

Hey Chris,

Welcome to Deliberate Receiving! Yeah… I don’t subscribe to the idea that certain number combinations mean anything, either. Unless they do.
If these number combinations mean something to YOU personally, then they could actually start to mean those things. To you. But you can’t apply those personal associations to someone else’s manifestation. So, the person that came up with those rules may well have been right. For THEM. But not for you. You get to have your own rules.

Huge hugs!

“Ooh, ooh, ooh!” *Excited LOA student waving hand in air*
This is my conundrum- Sychronicity is awesome, I just think I would get more of a feeling of awe and wonder, and I think that’s been my problem. I expect to be blown away every time and it seems more and more like it feels “normal” the more it happens. I think you said something in one of your blogs about that happening to you if I’m not mistaken. I have this fear of the Universe thinking I don’t appreciate the synchronicities I’m given if I don’t jump up and down, and they’re going to stop happening (Yes, I know EXACTLY how ridiculous that sounds). Just because I don’t always feel like a castaway in the desert being offered his first drink in days, I have a judgment that I’m supposed to fall on my knees in gratitude and amazement. But,to me, that kind of feels like scarcity thinking, like I’m looking for any old crumb like there will never be another. If Who I Really Am is all powerful and Divine, SHOULDN’T mystical happenings, synchronicities, et al, feel more normal than anything?
<3

Melody Fletcher May 2, 2012 at 22:05

Hey Jennifer,

The first time you access a new, higher vibration, it feels like fireworks (and the further removed that frequency is from where you’re normally at, the bigger those fireworks). The next time you do it, it’s more like poprocks. And it keeps going like that until it feels normal. Nothing has gone wrong, you have simply acclimated to that energy. It’s a good thing. When you begin to do this work, you have lots of firework moments. It’s not hard to feel those when you’re coming from a lower place. But the higher you go and the more practice you get, the less surprising those highs are and the less impact they have.

Failing to jump up and down does not mean the Univese will think that you’re not appreciative. You can appreciate quietly. There’s no judgement here. Big, loud, enthusiasm isn’t more impressive to the Universe than a genuine smile.

I do a great deal of work to continually raise my vibration. And I hit new levels all the time. Now, I do notice it, but not in the “dancing around the house” kind of way, or at least not usually. A new frequency may make my third eye burn a little (in a good way), or may cause a charged feeling throughout my body. Then, the next night, when I connect to the same thing, I feel no change. I’ve already acclimated. And yes, sometimes I miss that charged up feeling.

When you grow fairly gradually, it’s a very smooth ride. If you don’t want that, if you want more WHOOSH moments, then all you have to do is to resist. Hunker down and let the contrast get bigger and bigger. Manifest a bit of pain or massive negative emotion. Then let go. And WHOOSH, you’ll have that rush. A lot of people operate this way, even if they don’t know that they’re doing it.

When you become really self-aware and you go with the flow, the good stuff seems very normal. Is that a bad thing? Not from where I’m sitting.

Huge hugs!

J July 26, 2012 at 21:09

Hello, so I have been slowly getting into LOA and only in the last month or so am I realizing how I got into it and how far it actually goes back( a few years ) without even knowing anything about it. Many things I have been reading I am connecting to lots of things I already knew and now it just makes me feel better because had I know now…back then etc. In the last few months I have been seeing lots of dragon flies, more so than I ever have, a few years back when things changed it was lady bugs. Normally when I see these things now to me it is a sign or as you say a “wink” from the universe. It seems I get signs that seem to be associated with “Luck” (at least that’s what people tell me about lady bugs and dragon flies). Anyway my point is when you see these signs they are great times to feel good and reaffirm that LOA is working and you are heading in the right direction and to keep telling yourself how good (x) is. Use these Synchronicities as your own personal reminders to keep positive and have patience, the Universe is working for you!

Melody Fletcher July 27, 2012 at 22:01

That’s a great point, J. I always do a little happy dance when I see numbers lining up or any other kind of synchronicity. Seriously, I actually break into a little jig. I can’t help myself. Happiness makes me boogie.

I have to comment bc after reading this blog I checked the time on my iPhone and it was 8:08 . I actually wanted to share a recent synchronistic experience I had. I’ve been wanting to go to Argentina for quite awhile and have been fantasizing in a way that I felt so excited and joyful about it. The next night I was flipping channels and saw Evita was on. The next day I was at the supermarket looking for something sweet and found the last container of Spumoni flavored ice cream. Spumoni is very popular dessert in, you guessed it, Argentina. That same week I come across on tv an interesting movie and when I read the details, it was an independent film set in Argentina. It’s really uncanny sometimes.

Melody Fletcher August 23, 2012 at 23:28

Hey Mimi,

That’s wonderful! Thank you for sharing all of these examples! You are definitely getting little nods from the Universe. These are indicators that you are aligning with what you want. Keep doing that and you will get to Argentina in the most wonderful way!
